Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups shortening
  • 2 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda

Directions:

  1. Cream sugar and shortening.
  2. Add milk, vanilla and eggs.
  3. Sift together dry ingredients.
  4. Add dry ingredients to sugar mixture.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
