Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup + 1 tsp butter cold
  • 2/3 cup cold water

Directions:

  1. Mix flour and salt.
  2. Sprinkle in water and fold in butter. Use utensiles as much as possible. The heat from your fingers will melt the butter and then it will not end up being flakey.
  3. Gather into a Ball. Refrigerate if there is time.
  4. Roll with Rolling Pin. Flower rolling in and work surface ennough to keep from sticking. Do not over flour though as that will make the dough tough.
  5. Gently Put in Pie Tin. Fold it over twice if you need to before moving it to the tin. This will help prevent it from tearing as easily.
