Ingredients:

  1. Grease an 8x8x2-inch baking pan.
  2. Set the baking pan aside.
  3. In a medium saucepan, melt butter and unsweetened cocoa powder over low heat, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove the mixture from the heat.
  5. Stir in the eggs, sugar, and vanilla.
  6. Using a wooden spoon, beat lightly until just combined.
  7. Stir in flour and nuts.
  8. Spread butter in prepared baking pan.
  9. Bake in a 350 degree F oven 25 minutes.
  10. Cool completely in pan on a wire rack and spread with frosting.
  11. Frosting:

  13. Mix your melted butter, unsweetened cocoa powder, milk, and vanilla.
  14. Add 2 cups sifted powdered sugar and beat with an electric mixer until the frosting is spreadable.
