This is for the Brownie Lover in all of us. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter |
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder |
2 eggs |
1 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
3/4 cup all-purpose flour |
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans |
chocolate frosting |
3 tablespoons melted butter |
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder |
2 tablespoons milk |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
about 2 cups sifted powdered sugar |
Directions:
1. Grease an 8x8x2-inch baking pan. 2. Set the baking pan aside. 3. In a medium saucepan, melt butter and unsweetened cocoa powder over low heat, stirring occasionally. 4. Remove the mixture from the heat. 5. Stir in the eggs, sugar, and vanilla. 6. Using a wooden spoon, beat lightly until just combined. 7. Stir in flour and nuts. 8. Spread butter in prepared baking pan. 9. Bake in a 350 degree F oven 25 minutes. 10. Cool completely in pan on a wire rack and spread with frosting. 11. Frosting: 12. In a mixing bowl, 13.
