Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs, vanilla and almond extract. Mix well.
  2. Sift together dry ingredients. Add to butter mixture.
  3. Stir in pecans or desired nuts.
  4. Shape dough in log. Wrap with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 4-8 hours.
  5. Slice into half inch slices or less.
  6. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake 375 degrees for 7 minutes.
  8. Note: dough may be frozen for up to 3 months. Slice while frozen and bake.
