Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a bowl sift flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add egg, mix well. Add milk ,as needed, to make a stiff batter. Set aside.
  3. In a lrg. pan combine, blackberries, sugar, butter, and water and bring to a boil.
  4. Drop batter a spoonful at a time into boiling blackberry mixture.
  5. Cover with lid and cook for about 15-20 min.
  6. Serve with your choice of ice cream or whipped cream.
