Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 2/3 to 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
  • 2 1/2 cups ice water
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)
  • 5 lemon slices (optional)
  • 5 lime slices (optional)
  • 5 mint sprigs (optional)

Directions:

  1. Combine 3/4 cup water and sugar in a saucepan over medium-high heat; cook until sugar dissolves, stirring frequently. Cool. Stir in grapefruit juice, lemon rind, lemon juice, 2 1/2 cups ice water, and lime juice. Garnish with lemon slices, lime slices, and mint sprigs, if desired.
