Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Melt chocolate in a pan or bowl set over hot water on the stove.
  3. Let cool.
  4. Beat egg white and salt until stiff, but not dry.
  5. Gradually beat in sugar until the mixture is very stiff and satiny.
  6. Fold in the almonds, vanilla and melted chocolate.
  7. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes.
  9. It's best to take these off with a spatula while still warm].
  10. If you want to cheat, these can also be baked on brown paper or parchment paper.
