Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup cocoa or 1/3 cup drinking chocolate
  • 1/4 cup caster sugar
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 cups milk, warmed

Directions:

  1. Mix dry ingredients together in a large saucepan. Gradually add milk, stirring to form a smooth paste.
  2. When all milk has been added, heat chocolate mixture over medium heat, whisking constantly until almost boiling.
  3. Remove pan from heat and stir in vanilla before serving.
