Anna's Pop Can Pie Crust

Ingredients:

  • 5 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 lb lard
  • 1 (355 ml) can soda pop

Directions:

  1. Mix together dry ingredients.
  2. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles peas .
  3. Add can of pop.
  4. Seal bowl.
  5. Shake in circular motion until mixture forms large dough ball.
  6. Remove and roll with floured rolling pin on to floured surface.
  7. Use: Coke/Pepsi for a dark crust or Sprite/7-UP for light crust.
