Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 egs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 1/2 cup flour

Directions:

  1. Cream first four ingredients, add eggs and vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients.
  2. Wrap walnut sized ball of dough around each rollo.
  3. Roll in sugar-place on reased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes until golden brown.
  4. These crackle on top like peanut blossoms-cool on wire rack
  5. These are delicious!
