Mrs Fields Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 1/2 cups oatmeal
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 oz. hershery candy bar (grated)
  • 1 1/2 cups walnuts (chopped )

Directions:

  1. Cream together-butter, sugar, brown sugar,eggs and vanilla.
  2. Put oatmeal in a blender 1/4 cup at a time until it turns to powder.
  3. In a separate bowl mix, flour oatmeal, salt, baking soda, & baking powder.
  4. Mix both bowls together by hand. Add chocolate chips, hershey candy and nuts.
  5. Batter will be stiff. Refrigerate for 1/2 hour (If you have the time).
  6. Roll into golf ball sized cookies.
  7. Place on un-greased cookie sheet about 2 apart and flatten slightly.
  8. Bake at 375* for 6-8 Minutes.
  9. Makes about 5 dozen.
