Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup margarine or 2/3 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large bowl cream margarine and brown sugar. Add vanilla, water and eggs and beat.
  3. In another bowl mix together flour, cocoa and soda and add to creamed mixture.
  4. Stir in chips.
  5. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
  6. Bake 7-9 minutes.
