Chocolate Milk Cake

Ingredients:

  • for cake
  • for syrup
  • 1 1/2 cup. sugar
  • 1/2 cup. water
  • 1/4 cup. rich milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

  1. Prepare the cake as directed on box in a bundt pan.
  2. Prepare the chocolate milk syrup now.
  3. Let sugar and water boil in saucepan for 5 minutes.
  4. Cool partly and gradually stir in chocolate (which has been melted over hot water); add vanilla.
  5. Place in double boiler to keep hot, then at the last moment, add milk.
  6. Cut cake and pour chocolate syrup over.
  7. Serve wih dallops o whipped topping and freshly sliced strawberries or cherries.
  8. It is very delicious!
