5 not quite soup Recipes

boneless skinless chicken breasts, medium dice, mixed vegetables, undrained, peas, drained, cream of chicken soup, buttermilk biscuit mix , usually produces about 6-8 biscuits

chicken breasts, russian salad dressing, apricot preserves, onion soup mix

mixed dried beans, water, ham bone , with meat still on it, mashed potatoes, salt, fresh ground pepper, chopped onion, garlic, crushed

olive oil, spanish onion (grated or very very finely chopped , or pulverised in a chopping machine), pressed garlic cloves (according to taste), whole tomatoes (or 4-5 very ripe ones grated, chopped finely or pulverised in chopping machine), paprika, ras el hanout spice mix (north african spice mix), crushed saffron (it tastes much better with this than turmeric), salt and pepper (around 1 tsp each, though maybe less than tsp if using stock cubes), potatoes (chopped quite small, but not grated or pulverised in chopping machine!), stalks celery, diced (thinly sliced, but not grated or pulverised in chopping machine!!), chicken broth (around two pints), firm white fish (i used more)
