ground beef, browned, sausage links, sliced and browned, chili seasoning mix (williams brand, suggested), mexican tomatoes, no-bean chili, rotel tomatoes & chilies, refried beans, diced onion

ground beef, chorizo sausage (mexican sausage), whole kernel corn, tomatoes, cut up (mexican style for seasonings ), sliced black olives, seasoning salt, taco seasoning mix, egg, well beaten, milk, cornmeal, cheese, grated (pref. monterey jack and cheddar)

raw mexican chorizo sausage, casings removed and crumbled (we used two chorizo links), free range ground beef (ground chicken, buffalo or turkey can be substituted if you prefer), refried beans (i made homemade lightly seasoned black beans in the crock pot), masa harina, salt, water , for mixing, oil (for frying ), cotija cheese (lucky we are to have a locally made cotija!) or 1 cup queso fresco, crumbled (lucky we are to have a locally made cotija!), green cabbage (we used a combination of and butter lettuce) or 2 cups iceberg lettuce, shredded (we used a combination of and butter lettuce), mexican crema (we tried the latter! good!) or 1/2 cup sour cream mixed with 2 tsp heavy cream (we tried the latter! good!), fresh cilantro, chopped (fresh !), radishes, minced, lime, cut into small wedges, roma tomatoes, diced small (or other favorite tomatoes of your choice), cilantro, chopped, white onion, diced small, jalapeno, seeded and finely minced (i only used equivalent of 1 tbsp of jalapeno), freshly squeezed lime juice, salt and pepper, to taste
