Salted Peanut Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups brown sugar , firmly packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup lard or 1 cup shortening
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups oatmeal
  • 2 cups flour

Directions:

  1. Combine sugar, eggs, lard and vanilla in a bowl.
  2. Then combine the remaining ingredients in another bowl; mix well.
  3. Next combine both bowls.
  4. Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet, flatten slightly.
  5. Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes, or till golden brown.
