  • 1 cup brown sugar , packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup walnuts

  • 1 Cream butter and sugar until fluffy in a large bowl.
  • 2 Beat in the eggs and vanilla.
  • 3 In a separate bowl, combine flour, oats, baking soda and salt, stir to combine.
  • 4 Add dry ingredients to the creamed mixture stirring by hand until well blended.
  • 5 Add chocolate chips, raisins and walnuts, stir to combine.
  • 6 On a greased sheet, drop 1 1/2 - 2 apart. Flatten cookie with the bottom of a floured glass.
  • 7 Bake at 300F for 15-18 minutes.
  • 8 Cool one minute on baking sheet, then transfer to cooling rack.
