  • 1 Brown the ground beef with the onion and drain.
  • 2 Add the taco seasoning and the water.
  • 3 Simmer until water is cooked away.
  • 4 Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • 5 Spray 13x9 inch casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • 6 Crunch taco shells into pan.
  • 7 This will be the crust.
  • 8 Spread beef and onion over taco shells evenly.
  • 9 Add tomatoes evenly over beef.
  • 10 Add about 1/2 of the jar of taco sauce.
  • 11 Spread over tomatoes.
  • 12 Cover with cheese.
  • 13 Bake for approx.
  • 14 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • 15 Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
