1. In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and 7-Up; cook until thick.
2. Add strawberry jello; blend till smooth.
3. Cool.
4. Place slice strawberries into pie shell.
5. Pour jello mixture over strawberries.
6. Refrigerate.
7. *I have used diet 7-up to reduce the sugar content of the pie though I've not tried sugar-free jello.
