fideo- which is vermicelli pasta (or the stars-which is what i used in the pics), tomato sauce, minced onion, red pepper flakes (optional), garlic cloves minced, cumin, mexican oregano, oil for frying, water (may add more, if needed), chicken boullion cubes, cojita cheese, tortillas, sour cream, limes, you can cut left over pork chops/chicken into thin slices and throw some in there. you do not need any meat it is just as good without.

chiles in adobo, garlic cloves, unpeeled, ripe tomatoes, vegetable oil, chorizo sausage, casing removed , optional, dried fideo ( vermicelli) noodles, preferably angel hair, beef or chicken broth, dried oregano, preferably mexican, black pepper, preferably freshly ground, salt , about a scant tsp, zucchini, cut into 1/4-inch dice, thick cream , whipping cream, or creme fraiche, optional, grated mexican queso anejo or parmesan, a few tbsp roughly chopped cilantro, for garnish
