1. Place chopped onions in a microwave-safe bowl with 1/2 stick butter.
2. Microwave on HIGH for 5 minutes.
3. Stir mixture and microwave 5 more minutes on HIGH.
4. Using a micro-wave safe glass pie dish, melt 1/2 stick butter and add saltine cracker crumbs.
5. Mix crackers crumbs and form into a bottom crust using a spoon.
6. Pour onion mixture onto of the crust.
7. Salt And pepper.
8. Pour egg mixture onto of onions and spread evenly.
9. Sprinkle cheese on top.
10. Microwave on HIGH 8 minutes.
11. Let stand 10 minutes.
12. Cut, serve, and enjoy.
