1. Beat chicken to 1/2 inch thick.
2. Sprinkle chicken w/salt and pepper.
3. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
4. Add chicken to oil and cook 6 minutes on each side.
5. Remove chicken from pan and keep warm.
6. Add garlic to pan and cook 1 minute.
7. Add broth and herbes de provence and bring to a boil and deglaze.
8. Cook until broth mixture is reduced to 1/2 cup, about 3 minutes.
9. Remove from heat.
10. Add butter and lemon juice to pan stirring until melted.
11. Serve sauce over chicken.
