  • 10 -12 ears corn
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 Shuck and remove silk from corn.
  • 2 Place corn in boiling water and let water return to a boil and boil 1 minute.
  • 3 Remove corn from water and place in cold water (I use my sink).
  • 4 Cut corn from ear to make 8 cups.
  • 5 To 8 cups cut corn add the water, sugar, melted margarine, and salt.
  • 6 Portion into freezer containers or bags and enjoy the rest of the year.
