russet potatoes, eggs, celery (chopped ), sweet onion (grated ), carrot (julienned then chopped in small pieces) (optional), sweet gerkin pickle (chopped finely or same amount of sweet relish), miracle whip (add more if needed), salt, black pepper, msg (optional), paprika
