• 2 pints strawberries washed and quartered
• 3 tbsp confectioners' sugar
• 3 tbsp orange liqueur
• 1 large orange juice and zest reserved
• 1 lemon juice and zest reserved
• 1 vanilla bean
• 1/2 pint whipping cream
• 1 pint premium vanilla ice cream

• 1 Toss strawberries with confectioners' sugar, liqueur, juices and zest.
• 2 Allow to marinate refrigerated for 30 minutes.
• 3 Split vanilla bean open with knife and scrape out seeds.
• 4 Add seeds to whipping cream in ice cold bowl.
• 5 Whip to soft peaks just prior to serving.
• 6 Serve one scoop of ice cream in a martini glass then spoon some marinated strawberries over the ice cream and serve with a dollop of whipped cream on top.
