  • 1 In a mixing bowl, combine milk and sugar. Beat in egg yolks, butter, vanilla and salt. Stir in cereal. Let mixture stand for 1/2 hour.
  • 2 Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • 3 Pour mixture into unbaked pie crust .
  • 4 Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Then reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) and bake for an additional 35 to 40 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
