  • 3 cups sugar
  • 5 unbeaten eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3 1/3 cups sifted flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt

  • 1 Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  • 2 Grease and flour one 10 tube pan or two 9 x5 x2 1/2 loaf pans.
  • 3 Cream margarine slowly adding sugar.
  • 4 Add sifted flour, baking powder, and salt alternately with milk.
  • 5 Add vanilla and almond extract last and blend until well mixed.
  • 6 Bake for 1 hour and 50 minutes or until done.
  • 7 Turn out of pan(s) immediately and cool on wire rack.
