1. Saute the onion and mushrooms in butter with the garlic.
2. Brown the beef in the mix.
3. Drain off excess fat.
4. Add the water and bouillon.
5. Cover and simmer 2 hours.
6. Add the green chiles and simmer 10 more minutes.
7. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
8. Serve over noodles.
