  • 1-1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 pinch salt

  • 1 Beat yolks until thick and lemon color.
  • 2 Blend in sugar, cream, vanilla, salt, melted butter and flour.
  • 3 On floured board roll out small portion as thin as possible - almost like paper.
  • 4 Cut in diamonds, cut slit in center and slip one end through the slit.
  • 5 Fry in deep fat until golden brown.
  • 6 Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
