  • 1 . Preheat oven to 350F.
  • 2 In medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cocoa powder and salt. Set aside.
  • 3 . Using an electric mixer with paddle attachment, cream butter and sugar.
  • 4 Add agave nectar, egg, vanilla and mix together.
  • 5 Add flour mixture and continue mixing until just combined.
  • 6 DO NOT OVERMIX.
  • 7 Add chocolate chips and nuts. Mix using a spatula.
  • 8 . In a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or silicone mat, drop a tablespoonful of cookie batter, 2 inches apart
  • 9 . Bake for 15 minutes.
  • 10 Cool on the cookie sheets. It should be soft when taken out of the oven.
  • 11 It will firm up as it cools at room temperature.
