  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cocoa
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water

  • 1 Melt butter in 13x9 pan or dish at 350 degrees.
  • 2 Combine flour, 3/4c sugar, pecans, 1-1/2T cocoa, milk and vanilla in a small bowl.
  • 3 Spoon over melted butter.
  • 4 DO NOT STIR.
  • 5 Mix 1c sugar and the 1/4c cocoa together and sprinkle back and forth over the batter.
  • 6 DO NOT STIR.
  • 7 Pour boiling water over top.
  • 8 DO NOT STIR.
  • 9 Bake at 350 degrees for 30 min.
  • 10 Cool somewhat.
  • 11 Cover with hot fudge sauce and vanilla ice cream, if desired.
