  • 1/2 cup. of butter
  • 3/4 cup. of white sugar
  • 3/4 cup. of packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. of vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. of almond extract
  • 1 tsp. of baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp.of salt
  • 2 cup. of chocolate chips

  • 1 First you want to cream shortening, butter, sugars, then eggs and vanilla and almond extracts.
  • 2 Then you can blend dry ingredients and add to mixture.
  • 3 Next you will stir in Chocolate chips.
  • 4 Now you want to drop by large tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet, leaving 2-inches room in between to allow cookies to spread.
  • 5 Then bake at 375° for 10 minutes until lightly brown.
  • 6 This will make 2-3 dozen cookies depending on size
