  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup cornmeal
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup corn or 1/2 cup peas
  • 1/4 cup mushroom
  • 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp hot water

  • 1 For Crust: Combine in mixing bowl flour, cornmeal, baking powder and salt, and baking soda.
  • 2 Cut in butter until mixture is the size of small peas.
  • 3 Add sour cream, a little at a time, stirring with fork until dough is moist enough to hold together.
  • 4 Form into a ball.
  • 5 Press onto bottom and sides of 12-inch round pizza pan.
  • 6 Bake at 375°F for 15 minutes.
  • 7 Top with filling.
  • 8 Sprinkle with topping.
  • 9 Bake 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  • 10 Chicken Filling: Combine all ingredients; blend well.
  • 11 Topping: Combine all ingredients except butter and water. Mix.
