  • 1 In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a gentle boil.
  • 2 Add the tea bags; cover and remove pan from the heat source.
  • 3 Steep for 10 minutes.
  • 4 Take out tea bags and don't squeeze them.
  • 5 Pour the tea into a 2-quart pitcher.
  • 6 Add in the sugar; stir until dissolved.
  • 7 Add in the vanilla, almond extract, and lemon juice; stir to mix.
  • 8 Add the remaining 6 cups of water and stir.
  • 9 Let tea cool to room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator.
  • 10 Serve in glasses over ice.
