  • 1 Place pears, cut side down, in an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish.
  • 2 Combine water and grape juice; pour over pears.
  • 3 Cover and bake at 350° for 35-45 minutes or until tender.

  • 5 Combine almonds, sugar and extract; mix well.
  • 6 Spoon into pear cavities.
  • 7 Bake, uncovered, for 5 minutes.
