Ok Folks... this is a 1975 Kraft recipe... original name...Remember those little Kraft booklets they used to send out... This was in one of those... I have never made this. Ingredients:
1 jar kraft marshmellow creme (7 oz) |
1/2 cup dairy sour cream |
1/2 cup milk |
2 eggs |
1/2 cup flour |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 tablespoon butter |
4 cups sliced strawberries or 2 (17 oz) cans peach slices, drained |
frozen strawberries can be used, thawed and drained. |
Directions:
1. Combine marshmellow creme with sour cream, mixing until well blended ; set aside 2. Combine milk, eggs, flour and salt; beat until smooth and well blended. 3. Heat a 9 inch oven proof skillet in 450 degree oven until very hot. 4. Add butter to coat skillet; pour batter in immediately. 5. Bake on lowest rack at 450 degrees, 10 minutes. 6. Reduce heat to 350; continue baking 10 more minutes or until golden brown. 7. Fill with fruit; top with marshmellow creme mixture. 8. Serve immediately. 9. 6 to 8 servings. |
