This zucchini salad is the perfect barbecue accompaniment.
Ingredients:
2 zucchini
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon lemons or 1 tablespoon lime juice
1 tablespoon clear honey
2 teaspoons poppy seeds
1 garlic clove, crushed
salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
1. Grate the zucchinis on the coarse side of your grater.
2. Toss them with the olive oil, lemon or lime juice, clear honey, poppy seeds and the crushed garlic clove.
3. Add salt and pepper to taste.
4. Serve as soon as possible (or it will get too watery), with sizzling barbecued chicken or lamb, kebabs or burgers.
