tastes really good. Ingredients:
500 g ground beef |
* 1 large onion (chopped finely) |
* 2 cups pureed fresh tomatoes |
* 1 medium zucchini / courgette (sliced) |
* 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
* about 1 cup of sliced mushrooms |
* 1 tbsp oil |
* 1/2 tsp dried basil |
* 1/2 tsp dried oregano |
* salt and pepper to taste |
* a few drops of tabasco sauce |
Directions:
1. Saute the zucchini, onion and mushrooms in oil until tender. In a non stick frying pan, brown the ground beef. To it add the tomato puree and cook for 4-5 minutes, so that it dries up a bit. Add all the seasonings. Mix the vegetables and beef mixture together and put in a baking dish. 2. Top with cheese. Bake, uncovered at 180°C for 30 minutes. Serve hot. |
