Zucchini and Carrots With Green Onion and Dill

Bon Appetit, Dec., 2006, in the Hannukah menu section. Sounds interesting and great when you don't want a sweet carrot dish.
Ingredients:
1 1/2-1 3/4 lbs zucchini, trimmed, coarsely grated
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 cups green onions, chopped, about 6 large, divided
1 1/2 lbs carrots, peeled, coarsely grated, about 5 large
4 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped, divided
salt
pepper
Directions:
1. Roll up grated zucchini in large kitchen towel; press to dry.
2. Heat oil in large deep skillet over high heat.
3. Add 1 cup green onions and sauté 30 seconds.
4. Add zucchini, carrots, and 2 tablespoons dill.
5. Sauté until vegetables are just tender, tossing often, about 8 minutes.
6. Mix in remaining 1/2 cup green onions and 2 tablespoons dill.
7. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
