This recipe was on a 1960 calendar..sounds good although I have not made it yet.. Ingredients:
2 large egg whites |
1/3 cup sugar |
2 tablespoons frozen lemonade concentrate |
1 1/2 cups strained prunes |
heavy cream, whipped |
Directions:
1. mix together egg whites, sugar and lemonade concentrate in top of double boiler.cook over boiling water, beating constantly with electric mixer until mixture fluffs up and holds it shape.about 4-5 minutes. 2. remove from heat source, fold in prunes.col.spoon into sherbert glasses - 3. top with whipped cream. |
