Yummy. Whenever I cook carrots and hold some back to make this delightful recipe the next day. Thees are so good. I can eat them all day long. I usually serve them with either grilled chicken or grilled pork. Read more . I have always gotten great compliments on this dish, even from those that don't particularly care for cooked carrots (huh?) Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
2 tablespoons prepared mustard |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
3 cups sliced carrots, cooked and drained |
1 tablespoon snipped parsley |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in skillet then stir in brown sugar, mustard and salt. 2. Add cooked carrots stirring constantly until carrots are nicely glazed about 5 minutes. 3. Sprinkle with parsley. |
