Ingredients:
4 cups water
1/2 cup skim milk
1 cup quick-cooking grits, uncooked
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons low-sodium worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
1 1/2 cups (6 ounces) shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese
Directions:
1. Combine water and milk in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil. Stir in grits and next 4 ingredients. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 10 to 12 minutes or until creamy, stirring occasionally. Stir in cheese. Cook, uncovered, over medium heat, stirring frequently, 12 to 15 minutes or until grits are thickened.
