An oldie but a goodie. Bite-size coctail meatballs in an unusual sauce. Why not try this one with soy meat balls??? Hey why not? Ingredients:
1 lb ground chuck |
1 beaten egg |
1 tsp salt |
1/4 tsp pepper |
1/2 cup bread crumbs |
1/2 cup chili sauce |
3/4 cup grape jelly |
Directions:
1. Mix the meat, egg, salt, pepper and bread crumbs. Shape into coctail-size meatballs. 2. Brown these in a skillet. Drain the fat. 3. To the pan add the remaining ingredients and simmer to blend flavors and finish cooking meatballs. 4. I like to serve these in a heated dish with tootpicks or serving spoon. |
