This is a recipe I obtained from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Wade Estate in Mesquite, Texas in 1981. Ingredients:
1 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened |
10 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, finely grated (about 2 1/2 cups) |
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
2 teaspoon lemon juice |
1 teaspoon spicy prepared mustard |
2 tablespoons minced onion |
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts |
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds |
2 tablespoons chopped parsley |
2 tablespoons milk |
15 carrot curl strips |
15 cherry tomatoes |
crackers |
Directions:
1. Beat together first 6 ingredients until well blended. Shape half of mixture into 1” balls; roll in walnuts, sesame seeds or parsley. Blend milk with remaining cheese mixture. Spread half on carrot strips, roll. Scoop out tomatoes; spoon in remaining filling. Serve with snack crackers. |
