ZINGY LEMON MILK SHERBET This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Viler Estate in Georgetown, Texas in 1991. Ingredients:
2-1/2 cups granulated sugar |
2/3 cup lemon juice |
grated peel of 3 lemons |
1/2 teaspoon lemon extract |
4 cups milk |
Directions:
1. After squeezing lemon juice remove inner membrane and grate entire peel in a blender. 2. Mix all ingredients together and pour into rectangular baking dish and freeze. |
