Your family will love this fun twist on traditional tacos made easy with Progresso™ Recipe Starters™ fire roasted tomato cooking sauce. Ingredients:
1 (9 ounce) pouch progresso™ recipe starters™ fire roasted tomato cooking sauce |
1 chipotle chile in adobo sauce, finely chopped, or more to taste |
1 teaspoon ground cumin |
1 teaspoon chili powder |
4 cups shredded cooked turkey |
6 old el paso® stand 'n stuff™ taco shells |
garnishes, if desired |
shredded iceberg lettuce |
seeded, chopped tomato |
shredded cheddar or taco-seasoned cheese blend |
sour cream |
Directions:
1. In 3-quart saucepan, mix cooking sauce, chiles in adobo and chili powder. Stir in turkey; heat to boiling. Reduce heat to medium; simmer uncovered 4 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until hot. 2. Meanwhile, heat taco shells as directed on box. Spoon about 1/2 cup turkey mixture in each taco shell. Top with lettuce, tomato, cheese and sour cream. |
