Want a little zip on your sandwich, then give this a try for a really good sandwich anytime. Ingredients:
4 sub bread |
2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine, soft |
4 leaves lettuce |
4 ounces sliced salami |
2 tomatoes, sliced |
salt (to taste) |
pepper (to taste) |
4 ounces sliced swiss cheese |
4 ounces sliced deli ham |
1/2 cucumber, sliced thin |
1 large onion, sliced |
1 tablespoon wine vinegar |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt |
Directions:
1. Cut bread in half horizontally. 2. Spread bottom half with butter. 3. Layer lettuce, salami and tomatoes on butter bread; season with salt and pepper. 4. Layer on the cheese, ham, cucumber and onion of top of tomatoes. 5. In a small mixing bowl, stir the vinegar, olive oil and garlic salt together. 6. Spread vinegar dressing on the top half of bread with mustard. |
