This tastes like a cross between a hamburger and sausage. There is a surprising flavour coming through though, only the cook will know what it actually is. Ingredients:
1 kg minced lamb meat |
1 onion, grated |
10g lemon zest |
2 garlic cloves, crushed |
15g chives, chopped |
breadcrumbs (use according to the consistency you want) |
10g nutmeg, grated |
1 large egg |
olive oil (for frying) |
Directions:
1. add all ingredients in a mixing bowl, excluding the egg 2. mix all ingredients together 3. add egg and mix thoroughly 4. once you are able to form balls start shaping your mixture 5. roll your mince mixture into sausage-like shapes 6. heat oil in frying pan and add sausage 7. cook over low heat 8. turn up heat then brown on the outside 9. serve with potato wedges |
