A great way to get your omega-3's! Ingredients:
1 (14 3/4 ounce) can salmon, drained and skin removed |
3 egg whites |
1/2 cup low fat cracker crumb |
1/4 cup chopped onion |
1/4 cup low-fat mayonnaise |
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
Directions:
1. Combine the salmon, egg whites, cracker crumbs, onion, mayonnaise, horseradish, and salt and pepper; mix well. 2. Shape into 4 patties. 3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook patties in olive oil until browned, about 6 minutes on each side. 4. Serve on buns if desired. |
